Near-infrared spectral analysis
We use PURPL PRO as a portable analytical tool for internal quality control. Near-infrared spectroscopy turns the interaction between light and a prepared sample into analytical information.

From light to data
- 01
Prepare
Prepare the sample consistently.
- 02
Load
Place it in the measurement holder.
- 03
NIR scan
Near-infrared light interacts with the sample.
- 04
Spectral response
The instrument captures its spectral response.
- 05
Calibrated model
A prediction model interprets the signal.
- 06
Analytical output
The app presents the analytical estimates.
02 / DATA
Analytical parameters
Schematic output · no measurement results. Moisture and water activity are +H₂O system functions; availability depends on the enabled configuration.

04 / QUALITY CONTROL
Consistency through data
Comparable measurements start with consistent preparation and a repeatable procedure. Digital records make it possible to follow changes over time and identify results that deserve a closer look.
Calibration & validation
Prediction models are developed against laboratory reference measurements. Performance depends on the applicable model, sample preparation and measurement conditions.
Measurement scope & limitations
Portable NIR provides model-based estimates for supported parameters. It does not establish the absence of pesticides, heavy metals or microbiological contamination. Required accredited laboratory testing remains a separate step.
